What is it?

This was a drug for pain that is no longer available for sale. The FDA has requested that the makers of any Propoxyphene containing product, pull the medication off the market. Recent studies have found that Propoxyphene puts patients at high risk of having serious side effects, including death from abnormal heart rhythms. They have found that the risk of taking this medication far outweighs the benefits of taking this medication.

It was a weak pain reliever. The euphoric effects made it more likely for people to become dependent on it.
