This time the equipment I am writing about is not technology. Living in Michigan, I substitute cross country skiing for running when the weather cooperates. Hoever, there are too many days in the winter, when the snow has melted a bit, been packed down and is all around miserable for skiing. However the snow is not completely melted, so running isn’t a great option either. Solution? I found these cool devices known as Yaktrax pro’s . They strap onto your shoes and give GREAT traction. So when the ski trails get to packed and slippery, they become running trails. One less excuse to not exercise !! they cost me about $30 at Dicks Sporting Goods, but I have seen them on sale on line for around $23.
